The 1st German Open Forum on the Millennium Development Goals, organized by TakingITGlobal in cooperation with YOIS Europe, will be held in Berlin, Germany, 10-12 june 2005, in the course of the festival "Berlin 05" of the German Federal Ministry for Youth Affairs.
The Open Forum will bring young people from Western Europe together to learn about the Millennium Development Goals. We will simulate a UN Summit and experience, which coutnries act why and how.
Our second workshop on Saturday morning will probably be in English language - depending on attendance of not-German speaking visitors. If not, executive summaries will be distributed. Since the first half of the workshop is orchestrated - like a theater play - it should be quite easy to accomplish. The open discussions will hopefully give you the possibility to issue your thoughts in English as well. The first and third workshop - the last is for advanced participants - can unfortunately only be done in German.
