Program purpose
Summer school „Youths without borders” is aimed to young leaders and youths involved in party structures of any orientation, NGOs’ members and activists, representants of various youth-oriented foundations and to any young people who are interested in such issues as youth participation in political and social life, youth involvement in decision-making process, realization of the youth role in the society, civic development and youth role in globalization process.
Program description
Political section: During this section there will be held a number of workshops and trainings that will be led by local (guest-speakers former Chisinau Mayor Mr. Urecheanu and the leader of Democratic Alliance “Moldova Noastra Mr. Braghis) and international experts who will share their experience and skills in managing the above issues. We, too, are interested in any specific experiences that our participants could have had in solving these issues.
NGO’s collaboration section: The main goal of this section is realization of the NGOs role in modern society, their contribution to local communities and establishing an international partnership network within conference –participating individuals and NGOs.
Cultural section: Trips to the medieval stone monasteries (Saharna, Butuceni, Capriana), Tipova and Saharna waterfalls, Cricova cellars, Safari place, Orheiul-Vechi (Old Orhei) complex, Soroca fortress and Balioz Manor that will give you a taste of Moldavian culture and traditions and will remain as an unforgettable experience in your life.
Program fee includes food, accommodation and transport on the territory of Republic of Moldova, cultural and leisure activities (visits to historical-cultural monuments, wine and cognac tasting).
Participation criteria:
1.Young people from 18 to 35 years, members of NGOs, political parties, students, anyone who is interested.
2.Participants from all countries are eligible
3. Forms of participation: you can come as an individual and as a member of delegation too.
The working language of the program is English, but in exceptional cases we can arrange translation into Russian, German, Spanish or French.
