International Substance Abuse and Addiction Coalition(ISAAC) of UK is an organisation that seeks to equip and enable individuals and projects around the world to be more effective in thier ministries as they work to positively prevent and/or reduce the problems related to substance abuse and addiction.

ISAAC seeks to encourage its members and others involved in addiction related work to work together to encourage one another, share information, training and expertise and to undertake joint activities as as research. we strong encourage setting up of local and special interest networks

Between 4th and 9th December 2005 the General Secretary David Partington and the trustee Jill Kingston will be in Ghana to officially launch ISAAC-Ghan and open the chapter for national networking. The program will involve intensive introduction of the participants to the activities of ISAAC.

The Deputy Minister of Health will be the chairman for the launching and heads of other organisation like British Council, WHO, Ghana Police, Eygpt embassy, UNICEF etc will be in attendand. The event is host by the national Director of ISAAC-Ghana and the Chairman Bernard I.K.D. Fiagbe.
