Global Youth Service Day is an international celebration of youth engagement and volunteerism. Volunteer Canada’s national campaign has one simple goal: to raise as many youth volunteer hours in Canada as possible! To do this, we encourage youth to set up a volunteering event with their friends, in their school or the community, and to register their event online at GYSD.CA. The website also includes tips on how to run and organise and event, and how to get posters and other materials to promote what you have planned.
