Each year, New Light Leadership Coalition hosts a Youth & College
Leadership Summit. This conference brings youth leaders together from around the nation to discuss issues facing youth, learn about leadership, and make valuable contacts with other young leaders. This conference is also a place where youth workers and youth group advisors meet to discuss ways to help youth develop their leadership potential.
Purpose: To increase awareness of the need for youth leadership
development and to introduce youth to the principles of leadership.
Summit Goals & Objectives
* To increase understanding of the principles of leadership
* To build relationships between community and youth leaders
* To form a working agenda and post-summit action plan for youth to
take back to their schools, cities, and organizations
