The event listed below has changed date -- it is no longer being held on 17 September. Please see MDG Young Global Leaders Summit posted for 10 September 2005. For more info, go to www.mdgsummit.org.

The MDG Youth Summit will be a chance to learn about, mobilize around, share ideas on, and critically analyze the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Scheduled to coincide with the World Summit at the U.N. where heads of state will be discussing progress on the MDGs over the last 5 years, this summit will be a voice of youth and civil society. There will be speakers and workshops and all are encouraged to attend. More information will be posted soon.
