DetailsDespre
On February 28 to 2 March 2005, the above organization held a successful International Youth Exchange programme at Goethe Institut, to share experiences and highlight on issues affecting young people from globalization, culture, education, governance etc. We are challenged by positive views and recommendation of the workshop from participants and observers to begin a proactive programme of action as a follow up
Young people can make a difference and play an important role in bridging communities and shaping the delivery of local services that benefit the entire community. At AYFT, we firmly and passionately believe that young people's views need to be taken into account- both about issues which directly affect and about wider issues which may influence their future. For this to happen, they must be allowed free access to information and be encouraged to participate in the democratic process.
