Cos'è

Name of the Open Forum: Youth and ICTs in Ukraine

Specific issues that the Open Forum will focus on:
We would like the open forum to focus on the issues of the ICTs and its opportunities to young people. We would like to encourage young people to join the ICT communities and create a dialog between youth involved in the ICT activities and lead corporations on the ICT market of Ukraine. The open forum should be also focused on the concrete facts about Information Society in general.

Rationale for holding this Open Forum:
We think it is necessary because in youth community there is no clear understanding of Information Society and WSIS meaning. There are also no meetings or discussions between ICT business sector and young people. We also are interested in giving young people knew knowledge in the ICT sphere and discuss the issues young people really care for in the ICT sector.

Goals the organizer hopes to achieve by holding
this Open Forum for youth in the community:
We hope to achieve clear understanding of what Information Society and WSIS is and show young people new opportunities working together with ICT and companies which are involved in the ICT activities. We want young people receive new knowledge and understand new ICT opportunities by means of discussion and creating a dialog “ICT business – young people”.
