"Our Generation's Challenge: The Road Trip," organised by The Oaktree Foundation in partnership with World Vision, Micah Challenge, MakePovertyHistory and UNYA, is aiming to have approx. 300 young people converge on our nations capital, Canberra, to meet with MP's, senators, AusAID and various NGOs to discuss the Millennium Development Goals and Australia's committment to them.

We'll also be having discussions with the Joint Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, AusAID (to talk about their White Paper on Foreign Aid, to be drafted in December) and possible discussions with Alexander Downer and the Governor General, although that isn't set in concrete yet.

To add to this, we will be talking about Australia's committment to dbt relief for poor countries and also their initiatives on trade fairness, in the lead up to the next WTO Ministerial meeting in December.

Accomodation will be at the Burton and Garran Hall at the Aust. National Uni. Breakfasts and dinners will be provided.
