The biggest clean up campaign in the country will this year take place in all of the seven Emirates.
Clean Up UAE 4th cycle launched Preparations for the 2005 Clean UP UAE mega drive are going ahead in full earnest. All EEG personnel are busy putting together requirements, arrangements and particulars of what is promising to be the biggest ever nation-wide clean up campaign in the UAE. As all the seven emirates are coming together for the first time under the banner of Clean Up UAE, the drive will be truly national in scale. It is going to be historic Clean Up UAE 2005 – the biggest ever cross-country simultaneous cleaning drive in the country, - will be organized in every emirate, in more than one site in some.
It is going to be a fun-filled activity that you will remember for a long time, and it will make you a part of the global informed and conscientious citizenry. Companies that are sponsoring the event will be an active part of the campaign, as will be teams from coordinating government agencies. Companies that are adopting students will also play a prominent role in the campaign. You will be provided with special t-shirts and caps, as well as biodegradable garbage bags and gloves. We are going to make sure that you have plenty of cool water and juice, as well as some snacks. You will join thousands of men, women and children in the year’s most spectacular ecoevent. It is a chance to show that you are aware and responsible about your country and its delicate environment. Come with your family members, friends and colleagues. Spare a day for the environment and you will secure the future of your children. By protecting the environment today you will help secure sustainability for tomorrow.
