A three-weeks intensive training programme for committed social activists, development workers, practitioners and critical intellectuals.
Organised by: Transcend in cooperation with the Peace Action, Training and Research Institute of Romania, the Transnational Institute (TNI), International SouthGroup Network (ISGN), Centro de Estudios Internacionales, and Focus on the Global South.
The SPI 2002 on Peacebuilding, Globalisation and Social Justice brings together some of the world's leading activists, practitioners and critical scholars involved in these movements for 3-weeks of intensive training and discussion, exploring the issues and challenges facing us today, sharing experiences, ideas, skills and knowledge, and working to come up with strategies and therapy to transform conflicts constructively, building alliances and people's movements for social justice and peace.
