Today Pakistan is facing very crucial circumstances; political institution is about to be a salve. And there is no remarkable movement for true democracy and perhaps people especially youth does not want to think about democracy. They are playing the role of audience and nothing more than it. An environment of hopelessness has been created; the youth that had changed governments is unable to think about the democratic processes. It can say a chaotic and fuzzy atmosphere has been created and the creative abilities as well as the right of freedom expression have been plundered. The role of youth has been repudiated for democratic environment. Same as what young people observed in past that was enough to make them far away from democracy, so their indisposed condition is quite obvious. It is rather impossible to see a brighten Pakistan without youth involvement in all these developments. To Pakistan it’s a crisis with political institute that it is not functioning properly and its free growth and development had been stopped. There are various other aspects, which is leading the unstable future of youth. There is also very short representation and involvement in this (political) set up, that’s why there are no policies for their rights and issues.
It is a current need for a democratic environment in Pakistan that we may provide or acquire the role of youth in democracy for democracy and the youth both have the same characteristics and tendency of social change. It is essential to give them the chance of freedom of speech, freedom of action and expression for we can get a bright future. This thing may help to strengthen the political institution of this country. It may be more applicable and acceptable for every body that democratic trends should develop, and youth’s anticipation is necessary regarding this purpose. There must be many ways but culture is that cage from which nobody can escape. Well democratic elements are present in Pakistani culture and the values, norms, etc are supportive. Though it is thought to enroll youth with their cultural democratic ties. In this event chances would be helpful for the fruitful results in the near future. It’s an open truth that culture is an exponent feature and it’s an easy way to socialize people through their own cultures. The rituals, norms and values; supportive regarding any issue. So it is tried to change the and to abstain those cultures which are not in the favor of democracy and to develop and construct those structure which sustain these phenomena.
As a matter of fact National Youth Organization Pakistan is working for the better existence of democratic culture in Pakistan.NYO Pakistan does favor to the freedom of expression on the domestic, community, national and international levels.
Main Objective:
The aim/objects of the camp is to create advocates of mutuality learning, through sustained and means that they may establish a democratic environment in their lives and no other levels. For youth has the courage and tendency to launch this program.
Our aims:
Democratic trend is to develop in youth.
Enhance the youth role in democratic process, through cultural processes.
To convey the characteristics of democratization of the existing society.
To measure, what would be the future of democracy in Pakistan?
To distinguish, whether our culture is in support of democratization in youth.
To hold activities of mutual interest and to encourage youth in Pakistan.
To research and then develop entirely new links and joint activities between university, college students as well as private institutions and working class of age. These new links will enable young people in Pakistan to learn about democratization and culture.
Specific Objectives:
To construct a charter of demands regarding specific conditions of Pakistan with the consensus of the participants.
To train nearly 80 percent of the participants as the vocal and director for the democracy, who may direct the people regarding their fields?
To develop the polish the aptitude and to develop the attitude to learn and reinforce this process.
To establish the leadership qualities in youth to provide the chance of direct participant in this conference.
