| The Taiwan Youth for Democracy in Asia (TYDA) will host its first winter workshop in 8-11 Feburary. The workshop provides a unique opportunity for youths in Taiwan to take part in a weekend long intensive training and capacity building workshop. For the event, TYDA has invited 15 experts from different sectors of society, from activists to academics in Taiwan to speak with the youths on the conditions of human rights and democracy in the Asia-Pacific. The weekend long program includes an organization building workshop which will assist the students in turning the knowledge they acquire from their classes and the program into action for social justice, democracy and human rights. |
