The EARMUN Conference refers to the Eastern Africa regional Model UN.This conference is a follow up project to the ARMUN conference held in Stellenbosch,South Africa in September 2005.
The Conference will be organised and hosted by the United Nations Youth Association of Kenya(UNYAK) in conjunction with the United Nations Association of Kenya(UNAK).
The conference aims to bring together youth from Eastern Africa region,Zambia and the DRC,the main theme will be "Youth Action in MDGs" we are paying special focus to the following goals:
Goal 1:on eradicating extreme poverty and hunger
Goal 6:Addressing HIV/AIDS,Malaria.
Goal7:Ensuring environmental sustainability
Goal 8:Developing a global partnership for development
Delegates attending the conferencing shallbe accredited by their local UNA(United Nations Association) Chapters.
NB:Only transport costs for East African delegates will be met.
Accomodation costs for the invited delegates will be met.
