Join us for an incredible weekend of lectures, debates, workshops and student presentations at this year's Medsin Global Health Conference. The theme is " Poverty and Health in the New Millennium ", and will address pressing issues in international health and development, focusing on the United Nations' Millennium Development Goals. Clinicians, public health experts, advocates and policymakers will speak on a range of critical topics, including HIV/AIDS, TB, malaria, maternal and child health, mental health, access to treatment, and the global commitment to end extreme poverty worldwide by the year 2015.
There will be workshops and opportunities for further discussion, and participants will have the chance to give poster presentations of their work on both days. The conference will be a fantastic opportunity to meet other people who are passionate about global health and learn about challenges and successes in efforts to bring about global change. |
