Things went great regardless of a few technical blips with a missing projector. It finally turned up and Adam Solomon ended up performing and helping out with MCing as well. The food was awesome and there seemed to be a perfect amount (Thank you Simba Grill!) The turn out was a little small, but we still had a nice intimate crowd show up. Thanks to all of you volunteers who helped out (mostly Swahili students). I hope that this encouraged more students to consider studying Swahili during their studies at York University! :)

Kwekitui Library Project
The library was constructed by volunteers from the village in November 2004. It is situated at a primary school in a village called Kwekitui, which is part of the Lushoto District. The funding for this project came from donors. A lot of sweat and prayers have made this project possible.
