The service project includes engaging youth at age 6-14 from three schools in Baghdad. The project will take place in three days from 21-23 April 2006 according to the following phases.
1- Primary school for boys and Girls: The project concentrates on engaging 50 volunteers from this school to participate in the service project that proposed by them ideas to serve their school and community in the way that they feel they can do the best so they will hang their paintings on the walls of their school proposing a small fair for their paintings, this incidence will be held on the Global Youth Day, their paintings will show the talent and the skills that the pupils have. The organization will be responsible on all the arrangements including providing the children with painting sheets and paints.
2- Two secondary schools One for girls and One for boys : 20 volunteers from each school, with a total number of 40 volunteers will engage in the service project to be partners in serving their community and planning for the service that includes plantation activities such as cleaning and planting trees in their school also the project will take place on the Global Youth Day.
The organization prepared all the necessary tools needed for this activity. |
