Call for Papers for The Education at The Touch of Cultures Publication.
Goals
We would like to present how different countries' education handles with the touch of cultures. By this, we mean not only the study of relations between ethnic groups in education and approaches to multiculturalism, interculturalism or assimilation of cultures, but also education in cultures where the old meets the new...
Topics
Suggested submission topics include:
- the peaceful (or not) coexistence of cultures at school
- examples of multi/intercultural education or assimilation of cultures by education
- global challanges, changes, opportunities and problems from the regional perspective
- unique best practices and new ideas in education that could be worth spreading around
- ethnic and religious minorities in clash with dominant culture's claim to universality - the role of education on "both sides"
- showing examples of cooperation between cultures in the field of education |
