This Assembly is a three-day intensive program providing avenues for youth involvement with UN related programs, affiliated NGOs and agencies. Its main focus is to substantiate youth engagement with programs in support of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and to give a forum for delegates to share thier experiences working in those areas. Panel and Workshop topics will include: eradication of extreme poverty and hunger, achievement of universal primary education, promototion of youth empowerment and activism, and development of a global partnership for development. Panels in previous assemblies have been led by UNICEF, UNAIDS, World Bank, UN Secretariat, Arun Ghandi and UN Goodwill Ambassador Johann Olav Koss.
