| The GYSD event is a one-day fiesta which will consist of booth displays and presentations of programs/projects by various youth related organizations that work within targeting a specific MDG. Every hour two of the MDGs will be highlighted with presentations by organizations at the main stage that will include the use of speeches, video and picture visuals to inform the attendees of what the MDGs stand for and what the organization is working towards in-relation to the MDGs. Throughout the day organizations will provide the entertainment, consisting of various activities and performances. In the evening the GYSD event will be accompanied by an anti–illegal drugs prayer rally and concert featuring live bands and other performers that truly support the fight against drug addiction. A number of local influential people such as mayors and honored officials, religious leaders and celebrities along with the general public will attend the event. |
