Это событие проводится в рамках другого события AIDS 2006 – XVI International AIDS Conference
The Toronto YouthForce in partnership with the AIDS 2006 Youth Programme is preparing young people for meaningful and active participation at AIDS 2006 Toronto with the affiliated 2½ day Youth Pre-Conference, to be held at a site located close to the main Conference. The Youth Pre-Conference is an opportunity to network, build capacity and skills in preparation to participate in the main conference. In addition to providing youth delegates with a technical update, the Youth Pre-Conference workshop will help you develop specific advocacy skills for participating in the main Conference. Participants will learn how to ask constructive questions on issues pertaining to young people, how to approach adult experts to ask for their support or commitment. By the end of the Youth Pre-Conference, participants will develop a post-conference action plan. These action plans will describe how each participant intends to use their skills and conference contacts to improve the youth HIV/AIDS situation in their country and strengthen youth-adult partnerships.
Comprehensive information about Youth Pre-Conference location and agenda will be updated soon, and will be included in the Programme Activities booklets which are included in the delegate bags.
