Name of the Open Forum: Hearthland Youths Forum
Specific issues that the Open Forum will focus on:
Access to Education, Human Rights Abuse, Reproductive Health Issues-teenage/unwanted pregnancy,prostitution and abortion HIV/AIDS- denial. stigma, advocacy for a state youth coalition,Orphan & Vulnerable Children, Sexual Exploitation,
Rationale for holding this Open Forum:
The above stated issues have not been given adequate attention by government. Other agencies still need to look into them, but there are no UN offices/presence in the state. My people need to be informed and there views anlysised.
Goals the organizer hopes to achieve by holding this Open Forum for youth in the community:
I expect to have a committed youth force with good, promising and progressive ideas, views and knowledge to to be harnessed into a sustainable development., and youth oriented process of policy making.
