We would like to focus on giving high school students general learning about each of the eight Millennium Development Goals
Rationale for holding this Open Forum:
We feel as though there is a tendency for students in rural communities in Newfoundland to lack the opportunity to take part in forums and to learn about social activism and global issues.
Goals the organizer hopes to achieve by holding this Open Forum for youth in the community:
In holding an Open Forum for youth in Clarenville, we hope to educate and empower high school students to make positive change in their community and beyond.
