Name of the Open Forum: Walk The World:Fight Hunger
Specific issues that the Open Forum will focus on:
We want to join the United Nations World Food Programme and tens of thousands of individuals around the world to help end child hunger. Together, we’ll play a key role in meeting the goals of the U.N. Millennium Development Campaign.
We will join Fight Hunger, and lend our voice to a growing chorus of citizens all over the world who believe that a world with hungry children is a world that must be changed.
Rationale for holding this Open Forum:
People rarely do something serious until they are summoned to a place. That is why we believe that it is necessary to have a discussion in my community.
Goals the organizer hopes to achieve by holding
this Open Forum for youth in the community:
We’ll keep people updated on the latest activities of Fight Hunger including Walk the World 2006 - and the world hunger situation. We will also be holding world leaders responsible for their actions towards hunger elimination and poverty eradication.
