Name of the Open Forum: ESCAPING THE POVERTY TRAP
Specific issues that the Open Forum will focus on:
At the one day interactive Forum tagged “Escaping The Poverty Trap” the following topics will be treated by Professionals: CAREER AND JOB GUIDE, SME’s: CATALYST FOR INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT OF NIGERIA, HOW TO SET UP A SMALL SCALE INDUSTRY, DISMANTLING FEMINIZATION OF POVERTY.
Rationale for holding this Open Forum:
The Organization aims to achieve total eradication of extreme Poverty and hunger in our society by encouraging job creation through the dissemination of information and training to young aspiring SME’s (Small and Medium Scale Entrepreneurs) and promoting youth productive activities using the National Economy Empowerment and Development Strategy(NEEDS) initiative as regards Millennium Development Goals(MDG’s).
Goals the organizer hopes to achieve by holding
this Open Forum for youth in the community:
By organizing youth exchange programmes, the Organization aims to expose youths to means of accessing useful information, to inspire entrepreneurship in young Nigerians, give career and job advice to young persons who are unsure of the training and job opportunities open to them.
