Name of the Open Forum: Training of Trainers Course on Danger of Substances and drug abuse among the Youths in Congo- Goma.
Specific issues that the Open Forum will focus on:
Because of the social and economic problems caused by the Wars, HIV/AIDS scourage, redundancy, poverty,ignorancy and weaknes of LAW has resulting in number of Youths resolting to Substances and Drug abuse.
In Congo-RD where is proposed a Training programme is targeted young people of lack of knowledge and access to basic needs such as health and proper human needs as you know the region had been affected by a 9 years of war.
The Increase in Substances and drug a buse among the youths.
The Increase in Criminal acts among the young boys.
The Increase in abortion which result in death.
Rationale for holding this Open Forum:
To create awareness and out reach programme the youths on course,effcts and dangersof substances and drug abuse.
To educate the youths in moral values so that they become good citezens.
To create income-generating activities that can sustain skills for future self reliance.
Goals the organizer hopes to achieve by holding
this Open Forum for youth in the community:
After the training, the youths are expeted to join schools for academic studies, others shall expeted to join Vocational Training Institutions. Most important is that they shall learn skills and techniques to train others and in long run, the following shall achieve:
Be able to get Employment
Be affectioned and Examplary
Chance to produce better productive youths in the future shall increase.ect......
