Name of the Open Forum: Equipping the Youth for total independence
Specific issues that the Open Forum will focus on:
I will dwell more on sensitizing the youth on the way out of the present economic hardship and unemployment/underemployment faced mostly by women and youth. The open forum will educate them on how to start small and medium scale businesses as a way of escaping the present economic hardship.
Rationale for holding this Open Forum:
This is because, a lot of the youth in this part f the world, I mean the Niger Delta part of Nigeria are not gainfully employed and as such, are being used by selfish politicians to achieve their selfish interests or indulge in armed robbery, hostage taking, terrorism and other sorts of social vices.
Goals the organizer hopes to achieve by holding
this Open Forum for youth in the community:
By holding this open forum, I hope to reduce if not outrightly eliminate the rate of such vices in the society because those selfish politicians that engage them in such things like assassination or civil unrest or hostage cannot themselves or their family carry them out. Hence, it will cease.
