The forum will focus on leadership and young people, and the role of ICT's to young people and civil society organisations.
Rationale for holding this Open Forum:
Young people have lost focus, we beleive that they need direction in this regard by equiping them with all the relevant skills to be change leaders in their community.
Goals the organizer hopes to achieve by holding this Open Forum for youth in the community:
We want to give them an opportunity to express themselves and also initiate methods and strategies that will assist them in solving their problems. Participants will develop their skills in public speaking, time management, team building, working with the media, negotiations and more. Participants will also attend sessions on youth and enterpreneurship, the dangers of drug abuse, child labour and other issues affecting young people in our community. |
