Hey!

I want to say this has been the most wonderful thing in my life, being here and meeting together as young people to work out ways of addressing issues that surrounds us and our communities. All the young people I have met here have different wonderful stories and experiences from their countries and they all want to do something about it. I have enjoyed working with members of my action group which is Human Rights 1 who are all very participatory and together we are working hard to lay strategies to address our concerns on return to our respect communities. I believe we will go back well equipped with more skills and will be in a better position to get involved as active partners in the development of our communities.

IYP is a good venue where young leaders share their culture, issues or problems and solutions to this issue. ZVAKANAKA KUVA PANO at the IYP because i learned a lot and these can't be learned inside the four walls. My experiences here at the IYP is something that i will treasure and proud of.

When I received a letter from Oxfam informing me about my selection to IYP, I was excited and very happy. I could not belive it. But I didn't know that this was an opportunity of a lifetime. IYP was an unbelievable experience to most of us and it is an encounter that will always be treasured. I was inspired by amazing young people who are determined to bring change in the world and to make a difference in people's lives. Young men and women who are working tirelessly and who have committed themselves selflessly to make a global impact. It was an amazing experience and I would like to thank Oxfam Community Aid Abroad for making IYP2004 possible for us and most of all by affording a vital platform for young people to be part or actors in the process of change. We all came back from Sydney parting from friends we have made and the family we found at IYP. This was an unforgetable and exciting experience.
VIVA IYP VIVA, Long live Oxfam long live.
