It was my first international trip, it was my first official involvement with the youth cause and with the UN. It was very frustrating to find out that most of what would be discussed would be rules and procedures, but it was a very exciting experience and our team was a wonderful one!
I learned lots and learned to love the youth cause! It was a very good conference, after all, and I think the civil society got some victories (although the rights the civil society were claiming for should be ours anyway). I look forward for the next prepcoms, in which substancial issues are more likely to be discussed. And then we will be able to take the word of the youth on how to destroy the digital divide and create digital opportunities.

"Thank God I made it" was the last phrase I said before falling asleep as soon as the plane took off. I had so many hurdles to cross and arrived late but I believe that we made so much IMPACT! (My country's lead delegate was so proud of our efforts - and he's not alone!).
If I have any frustration, its with the logistics of travel (visa!), and of course the excitement is not unconnected to the "Nations" (as Mitu described our national diversities in one of her pictures). It was GREAT meeting dynamic young people from different places who were involved in different things coming together to do ONE thing - push the youth cause at the WSIS.
I look forward to the national meetings(?), the next PrepComs and the WSIS! Viva Youth Caucus! Viva WSIS!
