hello, my name is Omar ALhijazi,im from the hashemite kingdom of jordan, which is lead by our young king Abdullah the secound,also im the presenter in our project, it started when we decided to study in ma'an,its located in the south of jordan, and according to the international telecommnication union, this area is considered to be a remote area, full with bedwens and with no civilization, also its three hours far from amman, the capital of jordan, so we a gropu of students in alHussein bin talal university decided to start a small project, and named it Injaz Friends Club(IFC).
this club is concerned about the students who live in that remote city, from all the aspects of living, studying and communicating, so we divided our project into three parts
First part: ma'an city is a small city, surrounded with small shop markets,so we invented something called the sale card, which gives a discount to the students in the university but the students have to do a limited hours of voluntary workingin the university such as the library.
this discount varies between 10% to 45% depending on the hours of working.
Secound Part: our interest was the student, so we helped him within his studies by copying the books and converting the hard copies into soft copies.also our tutors in the university supported us by giving the soft copy for the most popular books in the Information Technology sector, so we copied them on Cds and the then distributed them.
Third Part:from a psychological view, we helped the students with the most difficult problem they may face, because they are away from their parents, so we made a letter box, and put it infront of our place in the university, expecting from the students to put their written or typed problems in that box, and according to these problems, we make a workshop to discuss the problems and then provide them with the solution,ofcourse experts aid us to accomplish this mission.
at the end, we carried our project in the Universities Leadership Competition and got the first place.
