This project encourages craftspeople who are not well-known to exhibit their products in Raas El Ain Café, which is a crowded place on Sundays. Crafts like basketry, traditional food, and embroidery will all be on display. The project aims at involving young people in protecting and encouraging the heritage of Baalbeck specifically through crafts. It will provide acknowledgement to those people who solely practice these crafts at home, and hopefully allow their products to be sold, thenceforth resulting in these hobbies becoming a profession. |
