Pre-project plan: The fight against urban sprawl has become a must in Beirut. Because not many people care for the birds in Lebanon, and because both humans and birds are God's creations, we, the Access Beirut class, decided to build wooden nestboxes and make clay basins to improve the habitat for birds. We also decided to serve our elderly in some way, and that is why we chose the garden at Dar El Ajaza (the elderly home in Beirut) as our haven for these homeless birds. |
